It is hard when the people who made work feel familiar disappear. Staying does not automatically mean you are falling behind, even if it feels that way. Sometimes you are just on a different timeline. Progress is not always visible in the moment, especially when everyone around you is changing lanes.

Thank you for the reminder and kind words
I think a big part of that is not relying on your workplace for your social and emotional needs. I felt the frustration of this for my first few years in retail and it was hard to shake until I became more intentional about getting those needs met outside of the workplace.
I understand that completely. It is a challenge for sure, but it really is worth it to find that fulfilment entirely outside of work.
Frequent changes sometimes it does make me sad when people I’ve worked with for years move on. I do have my goals, and so far, those are being met where I’m at, so I understand the feeling of being left behind, but that’s not really what's happening.

High turnover can be demoralizing for a workplace, especially if you’ve gotten know your coworkers well. The best way is to be happy for them and to not compare your progress to anyone else. Your journey is unique to you and when you are ready for your next step, you’ll know!
