Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

For a 1BR? Seems low, but you’re also a bit north of the main Edgewater area and there are a ton of buildings there so prices might be coming down.
Check it out, ask questions, but I wouldn’t just dismiss out of hand.
You’re going to look at the unit in person right? Hope you don’t make any decision without feeling out the neighborhood, building, and etc. At the end of the day, it has to feel right for you, so what we say here is just initial thoughts.
100% you’re right, I probably will
Look at Google Reviews for the building. If under 4.3 would pass. Also check review patterns to see if it looks fake. If you are describing 1 bed/1 bath for $2K furnished that is solid. Could be cheaper bc of summer. Would consider Airbnb in case you have major issues.
1 desirable depend on you. I would never live in Edgewater, but some of my friends LOVE it and would never live in Brickell as i do
2 you must go check it out, really do yourself this favor! Realtors know now to show a horrible place pretty on their photos!
2 2k seems good for a 1/1, so if the area and apartment look good, Id do it! Street view the area and check the stores around to get a better feeling of if you would vibe there!
Go ahead then. The bright side is you are getting a deal (bc 2k for a 1/1 so centric is RARE) in a good area, steps away from mid town and a quick drive from design district wynwood brickell downtown etc
Seems low. Come to moonbay :)
What is that?

I pay 2200 for a studio. 1 bedrooms run 2600+ down here. Wanting to pay max 2k might mean you need a roommate.
Dang. I could do 2200, just would ideally have liked to be under 2k. Definitely no more than 3k all in but that would be tight for me
I used to pay 2700 and my building was really nice. You might wanna consider getting a realtor haha
Check out opera tower on apartments.com. They offer short term leases that are affordable
