Is anyone a Patient Recruitment Lead NOT with PPD/Thermo Fisher? I'm trying to better understand how the role operates across other CROs. It's relatively new to our company and we are ironing out some of the processes. Any struggles or successes you're willing to share?

Pt recruitment leads typical work to develop strategies for recruitment campaigns. They may implement the strategy themselves or go out to an agency. They support business development with challenges / solutions for studies while working up proposals and costing. They may also proactively engage with advocacy groups for specific indications in which the company is focused.

Additional Posts in Clinical Research

Hi. I have applied for a job in an academic setting for a leadership role in cancer research. Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. I have been a research nurse for 3 years now, but I have no experience applying for a salaried position or a role in leadership. What sort of salary would be appropriate to ask for? I know that I should aim high and let them counter, but how high exactly? Thanks I’m advance

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

I’ve worked with many different industry-sponsors and CROs throughout the years, but many jobs I am applying to require experience at a biotech/CRO/pharma company. Would really appreciate any advice or referrals. Thanks in advance!
