Is anyone attending the American School Counseling Conference in Toronto next month? I heard they’re very informational.

I’m a junior in big law and in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve noticed that counsels produce perfect drafts and yet aren’t partners but partners can’t write two sentences without numerous typos. Shouldn’t counsels be partners and partners counsels instead?

I have a question. I work as an assistant manager been a manager for a while worked for the company for 6 years. I know crew gets paid a dollar less than me yet a do a lot ( its part of my job ) I asked for a raise I was told wait 3 months. Waited I asked again was told I needed to do this this and that. I just came back from a UIL academics conference. It always makes my head spin. So much packed into two days! Loved it but wow! Best part: seeing college professors who really care about the subjects!

I was at a conference for PLC 2.0 this summer, some great speakers and ideas. Graduate credit was available also through Midwest Teachers Institute, and they were really affordable.

This bowl is a place for teachers to share positive or negative experiences they have had with professional development opportunities.

I just signed up for a class that lets me write my own objectives and goals, work on them all summer, log my hours and share my successes and I get ACT48 hours and graduate credits! I can’t believe it- I figure I was going to do the work anyway- so why not get something out of it… first time I’ve been excited about doing work over the summer! 🎉
