Is anyone else having a hard time figuring out what they even want next? I know I can’t do another busy season. I’ve hit the point where Sunday nights give me chest pain, but every other option just sounds like a slightly nicer cage. FP&A? Still reports. Controller? Still stress. I feel like I’m just picking a different flavor of burnout. Did anything actually help you figure out what you wanted, not just what you could tolerate? I’m tired of optimizing for survival instead of satisfaction.

Hi. People Manager here. I've been one for 12 years now and I encourage my team to not be "yes" people. At this time, it feels like my manager wants me and my team to be yes people for her. How do I deal with this? I've never been a yes person and I don't preach this to my reports. I don't know what to do. Help?

How much should a contract ACD charge hourly?

Like seriously, how is one able to comfortably support themselves in the Bay Area on these new Analyst level salaries at Deloitte? It's not like we're doing anything different than Consultants and most Senior Consultants. TBH it's kind of insulting, and makes me want to get a second job for me to earn enough to live comfortably and save for retirement.
