Is anyone else noticing a shift in the industry? I've been in the pharma editorial community for over 20 years, and it seems like the work just ebbs and flows. Especially after huge launches, I've been laid off for "lack of work" more times than I can count. Currently searching for yet another full-time (at present, I must be fully remote) editorial position, but the jobs just aren't there. Is there a chance that, due to the current administration, we just won't have jobs anymore, period?

I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well. I am able to pay the bills with my hourly defense work, which gives me time to focus on a handful of high value PI case a year on contingency. I was recently negotiating a case and was told part of the reason the claims rep/OC was jerking me around was because they didn’t see me as a plaintiffs attorney.
