Did you move to Paul Hastings? 🤣

likefunnyhelpful

Yes, but they were paying me a lot of money so I planned ahead and quiet quit. Lasted about 22 months.

like

Just say no- I didn’t have capacity. They eventually told me that I needed to agree to take on more work, but it took a while.

Yes.

Did you lateral to K&E?

I was thinking of lateraling there…

Toxic in what sense?

like

Yes so I yeeted out of there as soon as I could

like

Yes. Currently quiet quitting while applying for other firms. Life is too short to be miserable.

like

Yes, but I actually advocate going in the other direction. Bill up a storm, and make them pull you off stuff due to billing pressure. That way at least they can’t say you didn’t care.

To a point. Depending on practice area, though, clients might be more fee sensitive.

So this dude asked me late last night if I wanted to call him and said he needed someone to talk to while working late..told me to let him know if I had a guy over then he’ll talk to someone else. I didn’t have a guy over and not that kind of person so why assume that? It pisses me off.

I have a experience of 7 years in digital media.
Currently managing a team of 20 members, handling 50+ clients.

I started my career in the same company i am currently working.

It was a start up and i started very low.

Now I am currently getting 7.8lac per annum.
I am being underpaid and i know it.

I am sure there is alot of opportunities out there.

Just wanted to know, for my experience. What kinda salaries can I look for?

Lateral that just went through first bonus season with the firm. Not in a major market but workload is comparable to major markets. Surprised at how low the bonus was. I received solid reviews and my annualized hours were well above the requirement. Should I approach anyone about this? Wondering if it is worth addressing or if it could compromise my standing. Thanks in advance!

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up. Is this just because I never get to work with other juniors and don’t see the mistakes they make, and that it’s relatively normal?
