Is anyone's nonprofits struggling financially and on the brink of closure? If so, should one ride it out until an eventual anticipated layoff or start applying for a new job asap?

I have a good friend and former coworker who is a KICKA$$ account lead and is struggling to find a new role (needle in a haystack for sponsorship... ugh). Current place is beyond toxic. What small to medium size Post shops are your favorites? Great if in addition to Edit they can do some Gfx (nothing fancy) & finish too, (basic Color). Too many projects with the same vendor & need more variety. NYC/East coast a plus but not a must… Any thoughts?
