Lived in both, I don’t speak French nor German but Geneva wins in my opinion. People in the French part know how to enjoy life ;)
Objectively speaking you will have more opportunities for work and fun in Zurich. Taxes are also a bit lower.
I live in Geneva and I love it. I spend a few months per year in Zurich and i could see myself live there. The only downside is the culture but it’s super international, everyone speaks english so it would not be too difficult to find people I match more with.
If I were you without any existing network, I would go to Zurich.
Lived in both. Zurich has more public holidays and less taxes. Better train connections too. Also, seems to have more job opportunities. Would choose Zurich
