Hi all, any CDD openings with your firm?
Friends, I have 11+ years of experience and have been selected for a L5 Non Tech PM role. Amazon is offering me 24 base + 8 SB + 200 RSUs. I will have to relocate to South India (from Delhi) for this and probably the offer may not cater to my expenses. AM I BEING LOW BALLED ? as the HR says this is the max capping for the role.Amazon Amazon India Also, how difficult is it to apply internally and clear a L6 interview (after i join Amazon)
Sainsbury's Has anyone interviewed at Sainsbury's DTD? I have a Tech + Behavioural Competency Interview scheduled for a Cloud Engineer role and would like to know how it would be?
Any employees who are currently working in DTD?
Could you please shed some light on how the general work culture is and how's the hybrid working flexibility?
Thanks in advance!

They are forcing us to pick any upcoming Saturday's to return the assets, that to we need to report the office by 10 am to return the system. Does this "return to pick up" option in Ultimatix still works or we need to go to office only to return the system.? Tata Consultancy

I don’t think that is an issue at all. Great companies rely on a solid core of people in the middle bands where stuff actually gets done. Whilst some may have an “Up or Out” philosophy I would hold to your principles and focus on being the best you can within your role for your own personal development. High and low performers are both high maintenance whereas the productive “core” is much easier to manage and generally do better work as a team.
In terms of tenure you may want to consider a rolling 3yr cycle. First year to learn the role, 2nd year to fully exploit your new skills and grow confidence and the 3rd year to look at correcting some of the “errors” from year 2, to enable you to develop a worthwhile experience built on success and correcting “failures”; as well as considering the next role or level or project etc. Your personal challenge with remaining at job level with no personal review, may be the level of in-band pay rise each year and seeing people less capable than you being promoted since that next level was their focus.
If you can come to terms with those factors then I believe you can have a meaningful career and able to strike a happy medium between work and personal life. Your principles will then guide you on who your current and future employer should be, but remember this sense of being is a snapshot for you and you should always re-evaluate your position and outlook at least once a year since we do change over time.
I’m aiming to become a manager and that’s it. No interest to move forward after that
A lot folk feel like this. The issue is as you get more experienced you get less tolerant of nonsense. Moving up the rants is how you combat that.
I feel you but depending on where you sit, PACE roles may force you to move up or out (risk of IP due to your time at level)
If your constantly supported for promotion as P1 but theres not enough slots / backlog can this affect you?
