Is it even worth getting a Marketing Certificate to update your skills? I have been working on my Google Marketing certs, which covers a lot of ground, including how to use Google Ads. I’ve included my certs in my resume and still can’t get an interview. I’ve worked at big corps in marketing as well as startups. I’ve been in my career for almost 20 years…I’ve had three interviews in one year. It’s horrible out there.

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. We came to a very one-sided provision and my sales VP stated “for this one, how can we just say ‘hell no’ ...nicely?” The other person on the call said we can replace the wording with just NFW (no f@$* way) and I said “I will have to add that to the defined terms section so it’s clear”
