You’re probably going to get a lot of negative answers here but imo yes if you have a good working relationship with them and give them an easy out
100% yes but tbh make indirect comments about it at first to know if they are cool and will share. Some people are weird about it.
I always ask everyone with similar experience and +/- 1 level as long as I interact with them at least a couple of times a week. Worst they can do is not give you an answer or just make up a number. You’ll be able to tell those outliers apart once you’ve asked enough people. Although it may seem frowned upon to do so by your org this is the best way to know if you are valued in the org and your being compensated correctly based on what you bring to the org.
I am 100% for pay transparency but a lot of folks are uncomfortable with it.

If I have that working relationship with someone, I will first tell them how much I make and kind of leave the door open for them to tell me.

Yep, I talk with a coworker of mine about salary and that is how we found out he is getting screwed out of 10k for no apparent reason
EY1 pay at the same rank for me has always been about how good you negotiated in your interview

Yes, but depending on your jobs I would probably disclose the range and not the actual number ? (if you're doing the same job, if you have a similar level of experience and skills etc) People with the same job can still bring different levels of "value" to the team and I think there's nothing wrong with small differences in the money if it's performance based
Inappropriate Co worker? I don’t know what you are facing of is harassment I’ll report it. But sharing of salary is a good thing. That’s what unions do anyway. They normalise the salary across the industry but on an individual level with a colleague of the same job function is a good thing
