I think people are generally having a very grateful time if they manage to get a job. Though people who have the option to quit definitely jump ship when they see trouble coming.
I'm not surprised. Too many companies are biting off more than they can chew. They are trying to restructure their supply chain and underestimate the time and money involved, leading to bad morale, bad work-life balance, and nervousness on job security. Personal anecdotes: I have seen companies set up scapegoats that leave the company when supply chain restructuring doesn't work as intended.
Yes! I noticed it too. Well, it's not really surprising since most of us saw it coming.
It's not surprising. There are actually a lot of factors that could affect the turnover rate. WLB, job security and culture for example.
We cannot blame them. They just want a better job. Even those who had no option at all chose to leave because of bad management or poor WLB.
