Is it time to ask for fixed working hours during negotiation with prospective employers, similar to how hike is asked? It feels bad how we are dependant on company culture for WLB, rather than asking for it.

Past jobs were casual dress and I have been working remotely for the past years. Starting a new job that’s hybrid for a bank and their attire is business casual. It’s starting to get too cold for flats. Are booties/ankle boots appropriate?

This job is a lot better if you don't care about the bonus and hours requirement. I can pretty easily bill 1700 hours annually and my firm so far hasn't cared in the slightest. Worrying about hitting 2000 hours for the bonus used stress me out so much, and I just don't think it's worth it. Base salaries are ridiculous and way more than enough to finance my lifestyle.
