Green flag actually
Or shows ambition. I switched jobs 3 times in the first five years of my career for better pay, better exit opps, and better chance at the career trajectory I wanted. Job hopping doesn’t have the same negative connotation it used to. I would consider someone who has been at the same job for 10+ years more of a red flag tbh, because it can show complacency. Not always, but sometimes.
Ya’ll are screening people out based on job hopping frequency?
In today’s dating market I’m just happy if they’re gainfully employed and can support themselves.
In today’s market, I only want someone who is a real person instead of a robot zombie set up by evil companies.
I wouldn’t think so in the job market over the last 5 years. Not the first red flag I would worry about at least.
Generally wouldn’t worry about it but definitely wouldn’t worry about it if it was a promotion, better company, etc.
It goes back much farther (about 15 years) and doesn’t seem to be about promotions or better oops…
How old are you Director?
Then you should take what you get. You’re too old to choose, unless you want to end up single.
Smart unless they’re a nepo baby.
Totally depends on the line of work, IMO. I can tell you for a fact it happens all the time in advertising and while certain exceptions exist, it is generally not a red flag at all. I have a friend in corporate banking who had said similar about their line of work.
It can be. I have a couple acquaintances who do this and I would never date them or want them to date any of my friends
No
At this rate I’d settle for someone who is not a serial killer.
Rising Star
No, I don’t consider that a red flag. How old are you? Most people job hop these days.
