Take the vacation. Nobody cares and life is short.

It’s fine.
It’s ok. Nobody really tracks first years OOO. That said, if you’re taking multiple vacations (as opposed to a single long one), people may notice as that causes more disruptions especially if your work product otherwise isn’t on par with your peers. But generally speaking, one week off should be totally fine if you give adequate notice to your team.
6 is also totally fine
It’s fine. I think every first year in my group will have taken a week off or more by the 6 month mark. You have days to use so use them
If your group is busy, honestly, it’s not great

There’s no world where taking a week+ vacation that fast makes you look good.
Well certainly differing opinions here! I guess that’s just the nature of the game we play

I didn’t say you were bad or lazy for taking vacation. It looks bad if your group is busy and you take a vacation as a junior. A lot of associates on here don’t realize how partners view things. Particularly older partners
Depends on your employer.
I started in October as a first year and took 7 days off in April. No one said anything. Had some other first years that took vacations earlier and later than me. This was a few years ago
