Dilemma: I am 1 of 4 workstream leads on a large digital transformation programme. My background is Enterprise Architecture, and I am leading a team that includes Enterprise, Solution, Integration and Data Archs.

If I wasn't so desperate for the resources, I'd roll off 2 new integration archs that recently joined.

They both openly challenge my decisions (which are made in consultation with the team) with vague arguments, speak to me as if they need to "dumb down for the girl", and (continues)

2021 Recruitment: What are the recruitment expectations for your firms this year? Is it going to be similar to last year with little to no recruiting in the UAE and some in KSA, or you reckon will be generally better?
My firm, a small boutique in the region, is only recruiting on a case-by-case basis this year.

What is the appropriate amount of time to follow up with a company after they've verbally told you they would be giving you an offer? I don't want to look desperate as I know that's not great for salary negotiation but it's been a week and I really want to follow up!

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund?
