Is there a way to do a preliminary conflict check with a recruiter before I invest hours into the application process? I’m a paralegal at a mid-sized firm and I’ve worked on a huge variety of cases over the last year. I’m applying for a role at a firm that is often on the opposing side of our clients, and I’m worried that conflicts will prevent me from being hired.

I have cleared interview with Wipro a month ago and after 15 days I received a simple mail from HR saying you are selected.

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.

What should I do now?

Thanks

Additional Posts in Ask A Recruiter - Law

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?
