Is there still an expectation for candidates to send thank you emails after lateral interviews? V10 firm if it matters

I would say yes. Don’t expect a response but I would send them to be safe.

I sent thank you emails after a recent lateral interview and received responses from 6 of the 8 people I emailed, so I would say yes. Some people don’t care about these things, but others do, so it certainly wouldn’t hurt

I always encourage candidates to do so, at least to the decision-makers they spoke with and anyone who they really hit it off with who might vouch for them. It's likely not a deal breaker, but it can definitely sway a decision in favor of the candidate who takes the 5 minutes necessary to send a 2-3 sentence email.

No.

If it's a firm you're really interested in, I would highly encourage it. You may or may not receive a response, but I think it's a respectful and courteous thing to do. Also helps set the right tone with people you might soon be calling colleagues and looking to get you involved in their matters.

Hi guys currently I'm working in a project with very stringent timelines. Sometimes we need to put more than 13-14 hrs each day. There are 4 members in my team. Two are involved in database prt and me and my lead are involved in the front end and middle layer prt. Somehow my lead is not at all pleased with my work. And even if I try to talk to him for something he is completely rude. Sometimes it makes me that I m completely useless. Even the other team members are following the lead

Should I disclose or hide the fact that I am on maternity leave? I have an interview with a big law firm in NY. I’m currently working for a law firm in Atlanta. I imagine I will be asked whether I have returned to the office or working remotely from NY. My husband and I have been living in New York since the pandemic to be near family. My current firm asked everyone to go back last week but since I am on leave I didn’t have to. I want to avoid lying without jeopardizing my chances.

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
