Hi guys currently I'm working in a project with very stringent timelines. Sometimes we need to put more than 13-14 hrs each day. There are 4 members in my team. Two are involved in database prt and me and my lead are involved in the front end and middle layer prt. Somehow my lead is not at all pleased with my work. And even if I try to talk to him for something he is completely rude. Sometimes it makes me that I m completely useless. Even the other team members are following the lead

So I recently passed my AWS Practitioner Exam a girl certified and it’s only the beginning! I submitted resume for a better position @ current comp from mission associate UX testing to a Tech support associate for project based testing w/in devops. I haven’t heard anything yet but am also getting scouted for TAM roles… should I wait a little and see if I get the position and if I don’t go after other opportunities out there that are willing to pay my worth… This is bitter sweet moment for me

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

Hi all. I started a new role with a company I’ve been with for 2 years. The role is very much an SME role and can be quite boring sometimes. When hired I was told that this role would do a lot of different projects and skys the limit but after 7 months, I’ve been doing 1 project and when asking about role expansion essentially told to stay in my lane. My first thought was performance issues but manager confirmed not that. It’s getting really boring and need more engagement. What should I do?

My SO and I regretted getting a dog from the 2nd week we had him. Fast track 6 years, we care about him, but we’ve never been able to shake of this regret (we actually joke around about this till this very day). My biggest gripe is less the cost and the daily care than it is our dog dictating where we can rent. The regret isn’t a daily background feeling, but it comes up strong when apartment hunting. I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.
