I love using AI, and Microsoft Copilot has become an essential part of how I work. The more I use it, the more new and practical applications I discover. It saves me time, improves accuracy, and helps me provide better support to my executive and team.
Here are some of the ways I currently use AI in my daily work:
Finding information quickly:
Copilot helps me search across SharePoint files, calendar entries, and email threads to locate information that would otherwise take significant time to track down manually.
Adding context to executive emails:
Before sending emails, I use Copilot to review the entire email chain and summarize key details so my executive does not need to reread long threads for background and context.
Drafting emails with trigger phrases:
I use Copilot to automatically draft emails based on specific criteria or trigger phrases I define. This ensures consistency and speeds up communication.
Automating travel-related communications:
When I book travel for my executive, Copilot drafts an email to his driver that includes all relevant flight details (dates, times, locations, and logistics). I simply proofread and send it.
Learning and documenting new processes:
When my team asks me to take over a process I have no prior experience with, Copilot reviews existing emails and SharePoint documents and generates a clear process outline. My team can then vet it and fill in any missing details, giving me a strong starting point.
Clarifying unfamiliar terms and acronyms:
If my executive uses an acronym or term I don’t recognize, I can ask Copilot for context and meaning so I can stay informed and respond accurately.
Overall, AI has become a productivity partner for me—helping me work faster, communicate more clearly, and step into new responsibilities with confidence. Infact I used AI to polish this comment.
I use it for basic stuff. Emails, meeting summaries, reformatting documents. Saves me an hour or two a day, but I still have to manually review everything it produces. It's gotten a lot better in the past couple years, just not 100% foolproof yet.
Try using for tech support.

I work with a chief AI officer, so it's encouraged. However work policies actually out a limitation to shat I can actually do. Currently the biggest time saver for me is using specific prompts to gather some Intel before business meetings with new prospective clients instead of manually doing research on my own.
I use it on my own for all kinds of things - I have Copilot turned on in my Outlook for example. Just this morning I used it to create a list of high-end restaurants in a specific location for an event. Later today I’ll use it to check a plan I developed to make sure it’s in compliance with my company’s policy.
Also there is an amazing tool in chatgpt call EAwiz.com that is awesome at figuring out ways to use AI or streamline and it is specificly for EA tasks.
