Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.

I use edulastic. It has a lockdown browser and I can integrate the calculator. I watch in real time as they take it. It’s not perfect but it’s the best so far. I teach algebra
Thank you! I forgot about edulastic. I also like the idea of doing it live.
One platform I just started using this week is Classkick. Since I am graphing systems of equations & inequalities, it is a life-saver. You save your worksheet as a PDF and upload it. You can watch them work live, they have access to the tool bar to type or draw. The free version doesn't link to Google Classroom (and you only get 20 assignments), but I just shared the link and they enter the code. You can also write on their copy to give feedback. Here is the class view. They're a little messy, but I know what it means. For math topics that involve drawing, I love it!
Goformative can be locked down. I use goformative for Bellinger’s and homework but I have see that option when I make my assignments.
How do you lock down goformative? I use it a lot for assignments and tests but I didn’t know you could lock it down! Please help me understand!!
If you use Chrome books, Google Forms also has a lock option. There's also an option when you make it to make the answer to the question a file. Since I teach math, I love this cuz then students can actually send me their work
I use google forms a lot. I didn't realize you could do that.
Canvas, Schoolnet, Mastery Connect
I don’t lockdown because the virtual students have their cell phones, math solvers and other computers at home. It may make us feel better to do it, but I don’t think it is effective in the virtual environment unless you are seeing where they put their phones and showing you their room. That would take too much time. Instead I allow notes and calculators, but make test questions more difficult and the test is longer so they don’t have time to look everything up. I don’t like it, but haven’t found an equitable way since we are hybrid with some students who never come to campus. I’ve also noticed several students who “need to be virtual” on days that we have tests. If their parents call in for them, admin allows it. I’m worried that I will be hybrid for the rest of my career. My private school is figuring out there is a market for distance learning with international students and students in other parts of the US.
I use BookWidgets. It doesn't lock down (😞) but I am able to add audio. Reading the test is a VERY popular accommodation in my building and, as the language teacher, no one else can read Spanish to assist my students so I have been doing this even before we were sent home.
I'm also a math teacher (math is my major but every school who has hired me eventually takes away all my math classes) and this program has an integrated calculator and equation editor and formula editor for math and science.
I use google forms. My last question is always a file upload where students have to upload a picture of where they did the pencil work associated with the test.
Google forms. It grades itself. What more could you ask for.
A traditional math test virtually Does not mean much. The wealthier kids have access to two computers so they can easily hide the apps they are using, cell phones are everywhere. etc. I am occasionally giving quizzes, that look traditional, but I am giving more essay type questions that involving explaining work, with original problems. They can still get outside help, but I get a better feel for what they know.
