Isn’t this at least a little worrying?

Less so than this headline appears. As more tests become available, more people will test positive who have had symptoms for some time. I don’t think this necessarily means that the disease itself is spreading at a faster rate.

That’s true. I don’t have an answer for that and it is concerning to say the least. Population density is also a factor- LA has a lot of people but think about how many people take the NYC subway each day...😞 perfect storm

More than a little.

Hi all,
I've gone through 4 interviews at a large company and I butchered the 4th one with the VPS. I felt I could've answered some questions better however I wasnt the most prepared. I did kill the first three with my boss to be and his boss so there is that.

The VP said that I would probably speak to his boss while he figures out the logistics at the end of the interview and I didn't ask great questions but i'm not sure if that's a for sure thing.

How does y'all prepare the for last one

Should I ask for an extension on my current plan?

Pre-covid I negotiated a base + monthly draw. My draw goes down $1,000 per month after year one which is right now during covid. Our sales are crushed as I sell within the events industry and losing $1,000 a month is going to be killer.

I’m nervous to ask for extension because my owners, management, and C level execs have all taken pay cuts due to covid and don’t want to come off as insensitive to the situation.

Whatcha think?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Hello fishes! Does anyone know of any good recruiters/headhunters? Or does anyone know of any good coaches/mentors? I'm looking for any way to help accelerate the process of getting a new job... (Referrals have not helped me whatsoever in my job search so far, I have either gotten no response or automated rejections)

I'm also ok with having anyone review my resume! Any sort of advice is much appreciated! Thanks for reading.

What is everyone's experience with vacation/sick leave? I work at a Plaintiff/general practice firm (Less than 10 attorneys/staff). Office manager/HR tracks vacation and sick leave (they are separate, cant use sick leave for vacation and vice versa) It is tracked as hourly vacation (though we are all salary) I took 4 days (32 hours) of vacation and I worked the whole time. I had to battle for her to give me some hours added back to my vacation. Seems wrong to me. Any thoughts?

Hi Guys, What’s your take on salary negotiation during this environment? I was laid off due to COVID in April. I just received a job offer with a much lower salary than I expected and my research indicates am being lowballed to the tune of at least $30k! I think the firm can do better because the practice area is thriving despite COVID! They’re in fact looking to hire more associates! Should I negotiate? I have been offered $115K in NYC\NJ!
