I’ve been a PM for years, but I want to pivot. Idk if it’s agency life I no longer like or if I’d thrive more on the client side. I feel a bit stuck. What excites me most rn is working on projects with creators and brands that drive culture. I also started my career as a creative creating and ideating social content, so I’ve always been more creatively inclined but with my PM experience I’ve also become really good at problem solving and leading creative teams to success. Any advice?

How do you know when dependence turns into addiction? Where’s the line?

I broke my foot a few weeks ago and sitting at my desk in a cast is incredibly uncomfortable still. But, the work I do can’t really be done from the couch as there is too much paperwork involved that I prefer to physically spread out. I am a true solo. So, I am my only accountability. How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up. I'm non-confrontational but year-end reviews are right around the corner and I'm worried about having to act professional to someone who I got too close with and who now hates me.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
