I’ve been applying for jobs for a while now and really want to increase my salary, but honestly I’m feeling a bit burnt now with so many rejections. I also don’t like how there’s such a big focus on making money and status and prestige all over social media, every conversation with coworkers, family, friends. Is it ever possible to find balance? I am having HCL offer of 19 LPA but I have got counter offer from other company of 21 LPA, if i again go to HCL and ask for better compensation means will HR agree and process for more than counter offer ?

Hey fishes, recently got an offer of 245k plus a bonus, but no specificity and at least 3% cost of living annual raise. My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year. Things have been a bit bumpy (not a me issue) I have a new supervisor and was recently given 7 direct reports (I had zero before). The new position while comes with a significant raise is a move to California. Any thoughts?

Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Submitti bids, sourcing material, negotiating price on materials, handling post construction inspections, scheduling sub contractors, notifying stakeholders, coordinating with construction managers - property owners - building management.
