I’ve been at my agency for 6 months working primarily on one account and yesterday they told me I’d be moving to a larger, more prestigious account due to the social strategist on that team getting a new job.

I’m nervous 😬 but I welcome the change because nothing grows in comfort zones.

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Still a blank slate in terms of tax experience, but I honestly do have a slight interest in international tax. Brought it up and I was given some names to find some work opportunities in that area. Besides SALT, any other specialized areas I should try to get some experience in? Also open to any tips and tricks to help tailor my workflow and experiences for the months to come.

My interview got over on June 29th right after the interview the recruiter called me and told I’m selected and they will be sending the offer letter. He mentioned there will be a delay in releasing the offer letter since merging is happening right now. few days back I sent a mail to HR.. but no reply. and after that I received a mail stating they are no longer considering me for this position. I recently gave my technical phone screening interview for the role of BA 1 at Amazon it went pretty good was able to answer 90% of the answers but after that I see that my job application shows on their portal shows 'no longer under consideration' although I'm yet to receive any mails from them.

LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like?
