I’ve been searching for a new position for quite some time and landed one offer but it didn’t feel like the right fit… I haven’t landed any others but I’m ready to leave my firm…can anyone provide some words of wisdom to stay motivated and not feel discouraged about the process. I don’t want to take something that’s going to affect my career negatively. I work at an AmLaw200 firm.

If the offer you've gotten isn't the right fit, it's best to pass on it. Part of the problem is that hiring seems slow all over, so it's not that you're doing anything wrong. In time, that will change. If you're ready to leave your job but it's not untenable, you might as well remain patient and wait for an offer that makes you confident about the future.

Slow-moving across the board. Keep searching for the right fit, or you’ll just be back to square one, where you are again looking to get out of your firm. Unless it’s dire, I’d stay patient.

I have an interview tomorrow to work at a fintech startup. I'm slightly worried as I'm not sure what it'll be like working While they use functional programming which I enjoy, I'm concerned about how much pressure I'll be under.

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. This is not my wheelhouse so I’m not sure of the answer. If someone is writing a “memoir” and is including me in it, and I DONT want to be in the book, do I have any legal recourse?
