Can you please help me with the in hand salary

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

Pulled out some vintage on a Sunday.

Happy Sunday. For some reason, it’s 4:20 somewhere.

So what does your total comp work out to now? I have had detailed conversations with a couple of the firms you listed and they can certainly match what you have from a base and profit sharing perspective but I’m not clear if your equity is an annual number on top of the cash comp or a cumulative value?
My understanding from some recent recruiting is that many firms of this size pay low 300’s for base (maybe up to $340-350k) for first year direct admit and bonus range for most is probably a touch higher. But incentive varies wildly. I understand A&M is close to eat what you kill for example.
Meanwhile I have heard a new direct admit partner at a Big Four is closer to $400k base.
@MD1 Is that for first year DAP? I know someone who just got a B4 offer as first year DAP that was $400k base. I don’t know the other components. Maybe base offers vary wildly too.
I think you will do just fine and may even be able to get a fairly decent jump in the comp. A lot depends on what you bring in as revenue. Different firms have different formula to step up your payments based on revenue thresholds, revenue origination vs revenue delivery and sometimes also a proportion of margin delivered on your projects.
Total cash comp has ranged from 350,000-430,000 the last few years. The equity was a one time grant as rollover equity from the PE acquisition. I’d want a bump in base draw plus a higher profit sharing target to make it worth the move.
1. I'm guessing you're with GT
2. FTI is not in the same league as Alix, A&M, OW
3. There are no other firms in line with those 3
Wrong but thanks.
PPMD comp philosophy varies across those firms and guessing for all the firms there is great variability amongst PPMDs based on performance. I would think the numbers you show are low, but might depend on specifically what you do and how successful you are. In the stronger practices, that is low comp for partner level.
Do your research please - Alix is a dead end.
2020 was a year of growth, sorry get your facts right and check your numbers, I won’t engage further. Thanks
