Idk how EY can take such decisions by giving so much less bonus % when they know that there hike is already very low comparing to delloite. Already many have left the organization who were good players and now rather hiring people from outside with 100% hike , it's better to give your employees better hikes and bonus %.

I have a dilemma. I received two different job offers. One from a VERY good consulting firm, the other from a corporate company (pharmaceutical industry). Both in sustainability field, same salary. One 200km from home with possibility to work remotely most of the time (consulting), the other literally 850 meters from my house right now. The corporate company offers 6 months at first with the possibility to get a permanent contract afterwards. The consulting firm proposes a permanent contract. What should I do?

Yikes. Trade carefully. While Robinhood should prob improve the UI, it’s up to personal responsibility to understand what you’re getting into. A lot of decisions in life don’t have an undo button

2x from Senior Manager seems difficult unless you are jumping to CFO or really close to that level.
Only job offers coming on my way are for the same or less $
Another one just came by basically same salary "plus bonus potential."
I would love to know where these opportunities are. I went the opposite route, left b4 to go local and took a pay cut. I considered it buying my life back since I now work 300-400 hours less/ year and actually take my vacation time.
Right??? Same here. I am starting to get shy about telling them my salary requirement. And that is really what I make right now. Where is all the $$?
Ya the most i have seen offered to me is like 20%. And frankly I can’t complain with my current job at EY so refuse to leave for such a small pay bump. I consider it small because I have it pretty good here.
VP roles, cfo
I just considered and passed on a VP role but it would have only been a 15% bump. The job itself looked pretty appealing but I'm happy where I'm at and needed more than that to make it worth seriously considering. If I hated my job or was really looking for a change I would have been all over it.
Depends on industry but I wouldn’t leave for a VP role. Needs to be SVP level
