Actually, I have never had a mentor, of any kind. So, I never considered the value one might have on my income. Do mentors really make that big of a difference?

I totally understand where you’re coming from! While not everyone has had a mentor, many find that having one can be incredibly valuable. Mentors can offer guidance, support, and insights that may open new doors.
Some of the mentors I have had along the way have been crucial to my career growth. I really do think rubbing elbows with the right people can make a huge difference. Mentors can be hard to find but a good one is worth its weight in gold.
