Is KGS gives wfh set up reimbursement to new joiners? Any new joiners out there

Since we are all WFH, some of my fellow countrymen have headed home and work US hours. Anyone doing this? I know technically not supposed to but these are weird times.

Are there life science firms that allow fully remote work? Is there any disadvantage of being remote?

I will go for maternity leave from mid October. Will I get hike on November? I joined on last year November. Also I got very less variable pay in the month of May. It was 8.5% of my 6months salary. Will it be same percentage on 6months salary or 1yr salary this time?

Anyone know of a company that would allow me to work remote from Mexico part of the year?

Everyone remote? Declaring yourselves “critical infrastructure”? Adhering to capacity limits but still meeting with clients?

(I should also add, I’m in estate planning & trust administration. Earlier CA orders specifically exempted legal practice re death and incapacity. Newest ones now seem silent.. Ugh, who knows anymore.)

How general/specific are the skills for healthcare consulting. Recently got an offer for healthcare operations but not 100% certain yet if healthcare is the industry I would want to stay in and want to see how transferable the skills are and how employers look at you after 2-4 years in healthcare consulting. I’m also in my mid 20s.

“Experienced Hire” with 7 years of advisory technology consulting. Possibly looking to switch firms. Have no idea if I’m in the range, over or under market level on comp. What’s a good going rate for base plus bonus range? Currently 150k base with about 25 in bonus, but the bonus has accelerators which puts me closer to 180/190 in total comp.

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over.
