I've noticed recently that recruiters aren't asking what your current salary is anymore. My recruiter screenings with KPMG, Capital one, E&Y, none of them asked. Just what my expectations are. It wasn't like this four years ago. I strongly prefer this, and definitely helps with the wage gap (systemic and perpetual underpayment of women). Has anyone had a similar experience? Which companies are still asking?

Looking to transition out of Management Consulting and going into big tech in NYC. Ideally, I would love to go in as a PMM; however I’ve heard it’s very difficult to make that jump if you don’t have a degree in engineering or CS (I’m a liberal arts graduate and in the final year of a part-time mba). Should I look to apply as a program manager role since it’s more likely my consulting experience will apply to that and see if I can transition into a PMM role from there?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected.
