I’ve recently gone through a very difficult personal time, which has made me reassess my career. I’m now trying to pivot into HR, but I feel like my past roles don’t reflect the skills I need for HR. How do I present my background as a strength, even though I’m transitioning into a new field?

A career pivot can feel daunting, but your past experience likely holds more transferable skills than you think. HR is all about people, communication, problem solving, and strategy.

If you want to chat through your transition, I’m happy to help. I work with professionals to accelerate their career growth.

Strategists, do you have a portfolio? What info do you include? Would campaign results and insights be off limits because it’s considered confidential info? 🤔

I've been in manual testing for 80% of my career. Despite attempts to transfer into a more code-centric role, I never got the opportunity to do so. Now that I'm in a management role, I feel like it's too late to enhance my programming skills.

Suppose I want to transition into a developer role, will self-study be sufficient for passing the necessary requirements for coding jobs? Lately, I've been learning python and using what I learned by solving problems at leetcode.
