I’ve started “quiet quitting”, as much as I hate that term. I am no longer responding to emails prior to 8AM as well as responding past 6 and not during my hour lunch break. I’ve been doing this for 3 weeks now and found no one cares. After years of making myself available 24/7 and people taking advantage once I set my own boundaries it has happened organically. Why didn’t I do this years ago?!

One of my big hang-ups with biden tax plan is raising corporate tax across the board. Why raise taxes on businesses when we've just found out how fragile it is to be able to run a small business?Why not at least propose some kind of progressive corporate tax structure if you want to raise taxes on corps?

I took a temporary job as an attorney advisor at the SBA this past fall b/c it offered a regular paycheck, and my solo practice was suffering b/c of the pandemic. I like the work. I like working from home. Anyone have any insight into the possibility of this temp job becoming permanent. Did the SBA hire you permanently when your temp position ended? How did that happen?

If I could walk away from it all I would. The betrayal, fake friendships, and back stabbing in advertising is taking its toll on me. I day dream of going to culinary school or just being a mom.

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing.
