I've tried so hard to start an accounting career. I studied Economics in uni but because I had a decent grasp on accounting principles in secondary school decided to do aat 2 and even became an unpaid trainee as an accounts assistant. Regardless of that, still no jobs. Did I go about this the wrong way?

Can folks share their experiences of working during 2nd and 3rd trimesters? How hard was it? What accommodations or adjustments did you make? I’m only in my 1st trimester now but will be starting a new job in October (4 months before my due date) and am nervous about not being able to be at my best

I’m sober curious. I’m also about to help a new non-alcoholic spirit company with their launch.
I have a question for people in recovery. If a brand were to contend that sobriety is a spectrum, or allow for that to a least be part of the conversation, how does that make you feel? Are other brands doing a good job of being inclusive of people who are truly sober?
(I get that NA drinks / spirits can be triggering for people in recovery)

Hey all, it’s my first time managing an IMO, so I am heading up standing the office up, getting everyone on board, coming up with the day 0, 1, 100 plan, etc. Any advice from someone who does this stuff day in and out? Parthenon, DDV, etc.

Is it natural to be happy then sad then happy again or on an emotional roller coaster in your career? Or is there such thing as work nirvana?is it possible to truly like your job and enjoy it every day? Or are hard days inevitable?

What do you think are the chances this thing actually goes through? As of today they're still blocking it. It's paused which is fine, but if they don't actually forgive them after February I'll be pissed.
