I’ve worked in finance and accounting for over 13 years, with experience spanning tax planning, project accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. I now find myself at a crossroads. I’m no longer feeling fulfilled in this field, and I’m questioning whether it’s time for a change.

Given the current state of the economy and the competitive job market, I’m torn between staying the course in an industry I know well or taking the risk to transition into something new.

Today I got an email from TCS to complete an ibegin registration. Whenever I login, it is asking me to enter PAN details and mail ID. If I give, it is giving a warning that my account is already present in ibegin and telling me to login with another email ID. As if I remember, one of the consultancy, used my PAN to register in ibegin but I’m unable to login since it is registered by their mail ID and my PAN.

Does anyone have any experience doing a fund accounting audit?

I recently found out that I'll be working on a fund accounting audit - which is a component of a larger client. Scheduling keeps telling me its a "different" opportunity, and I'll get "other" experience, I have no idea what theyre alluding too and the lack of transparency is frustrating. Does anyone have any experience in a fund accounting audit and how it compares to a normal audit? and is it good experience?

I was told to watch my time as the client doesn’t like to pay these fees, and the partner is unhappy because it looks like I have high hours. Is the message that I should eat my time? Or is it that They think I’m inefficient?

What can I do with my 3 year experience at big 4, if I exit now? My aim was to always hit 6 figures after 5 years of work but I can’t stand the big 4 workload and stress levels that much longer.
