Does anyone have any experience doing a fund accounting audit?

I recently found out that I'll be working on a fund accounting audit - which is a component of a larger client. Scheduling keeps telling me its a "different" opportunity, and I'll get "other" experience, I have no idea what theyre alluding too and the lack of transparency is frustrating. Does anyone have any experience in a fund accounting audit and how it compares to a normal audit? and is it good experience?

Since I was previously trained in project management, I’m doing sometimes a week or 2 weeks worth of google coursework in one evening.
