I accepted an offer from Cognizant for a consultant position a little less than a month ago. My joining date is 5th September and I would need visa sponsorship. I have completed my pre joining formalities and background verification. The thing is I haven’t heard from HR in a while and no update as yet on visa sponsorship process. Should I be worried?

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. I was confident in my now manager, who told me directly this will become a permanent role. However, i’m nervous about where the economy is going to be within the next year, and after getting a few linked in messages to interview for full time positions, I’m starting to second guess myself. Thoughts? Advice?

Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. What can I do with my 3 year experience at big 4, if I exit now? My aim was to always hit 6 figures after 5 years of work but I can’t stand the big 4 workload and stress levels that much longer. Always willing to work hard and long hours. But that is spilling over into Saturday and Sunday’s. My mind does not rest. Persevere or start looking elsewhere?

I just started a new job (WFH) and this is my third day. For background, I graduated in 2021 and this is my second professional job. Is it normal for your team to not provide a ton of training and information? I have the jist of the work down but there’s a lot of gray area that I have a ton of questions about and my manager hasn’t provided a lot of time for questions before moving on to the next project.

I recently found out that I'll be working on a fund accounting audit - which is a component of a larger client. Scheduling keeps telling me its a "different" opportunity, and I'll get "other" experience, I have no idea what theyre alluding too and the lack of transparency is frustrating. Does anyone have any experience in a fund accounting audit and how it compares to a normal audit? and is it good experience?
