I’ve worked in Fixed Income sales and trading in NY for about 10years and recently got laid off. My spouse is being asked to move to London with their job. I’m trying to find an opportunity in London while in NY but it’s been tough. Is it easier to move there and then try to find a job or should we try to push off the move until I find something?

I’m looking for a new job, working remotely, that doesn’t require a Bachelor’s. (I’m currently going back to school to get one, as I only have an Associate’s in Mathematics right now)
I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. I’ve seen coworkers get positions they aren’t able to do simply because they have a degree and then leave a mess for me to clean up but I’m not allowed to have the position. Any suggestions?
