Job hunting can feel strange sometimes. You spend hours tailoring resumes, preparing for interviews, building projects, networking, and continuously learning new technologies only to be ghosted most of the times. It makes you wonder how much of the industry rewards real skill and impact versus simply appearing shiny on your resumé. Thoughts?

It takes time and effort for people to prove themselves to companies, but sometimes all we really need is a chance. When that opportunity is given, the results can speak for themselves.

However, I have seen poor reviews for working at TCS and I’d like to get some feedback from anyone currently or had previously worked for that company. I went through the hiring process with this company and finally got an offer. They offered 88k/year and I responded opening a negotiation. They emailed me back saying that I am no longer in this process anymore with no further explanation and in Thanksgiving day. Is that normal?that email really got me very upset

Considering pivoting into tech. Currently considering Project Management or Presales tech. I understand the general roles of each. Presales seem to make more than PM, so I am leaning towards presales. Curious if any PMs considered presales and why you decided to do Project management instead

Asking advice from a recruiter: I’ve been recently laid off :( This week I took some time to reflect, talk to friends and family. I want to be more thoughtful on my next move and although interviewing right away would be logical I feel I want to take a break and some time for myself. Take a month or two off working and use that time to plan thoughtfully on my next move. Would having that gap in my resume be an issue when I go back to the job market?
