Got rejected from BCG final round :(
Hi,
In tcs my joining date is passed still not received onboarding link.
Is it normal there because been 4 days delay still they are not giving any update.
It’s kinda hectic to call every time to recruiter and get back with the same answer like work in process.
Should I even expect the joining date?
Let me know if anyone faced that kind of situation before. Tata Consultancy even onboarding manger is not giving Reply’s to my. Mails

I really don't have any advice, but I completely understand and can empathize. Is it the role or the firm? I'm in-house and love what I do but I really do not like the people I work with. The only thing that keeps me going is reminding myself that I really like my paycheck.
Maybe I do have some advice. Take CLE's and classes to get knowledge in other areas. Join some paralegal groups for networking opportunities because networking will get you in some doors quicker than anything else. Volunteering can also help with networking. Lastly, have you talked to your supervising attorney to let them know you are interested in learning other areas? There may be some areas in the firm that need extra help.
I hope something I've said can help. You can, and will, get through this!
I think for me currently it is a mixture of both the role and the firm. They took away bonuses and gave raises that did not keep up with inflation. Overall the office is not a healthy or enjoyable one to be a part of.
I am unable to switch and learn other areas based on how my pay is structured (I am paid from the attorney's ARA and not the firm, and the firm isn't currently hiring for other paralegals). The way the firm is set up is that it is mostly solo practitioners so very few ask for support from the staffing side anyways.
I am not required to take CLE's in the state I am in currently, so my boss is not willing to pay for me to take any, and cannot afford to take one on my own.
I felt this; it has been a crazy legal market; I’ve landed stellar interviews & have been passed on each opportunity; Biglaw; have been told directly by HR that they’re getting overwhelmingly excellent candidate pool; nothing wrong with my resume nor credentials the positions have been super competitive; I have asked; iam talking about top vault; not sure how the others are doing; just looking to land a higher/ranking/vault position that’s all; in Top100 currently;
Why?
P1 I know I’m not alone but none of my close friends are in the legal field so they don’t fully get it.
P2 I don’t want to leave per se but I think I want to pivot into something outside of being a paralegal, I just don’t know what that could be.
