I worked for them for a couple of months in 2020 before leaving due to burnout. The workload can be excessive at times and I ended up needing to do overtime often to meet deadlines and hit targets. The attorneys make an effort to foster a good culture with stuff like free donuts, team events, etc. but the workload was so bad that those things didn’t really do much to help IMO.
The worst part in my opinion is that they don’t offer dental insurance as part of their benefits. Also they have the capability for remote work but expect you to commute to their office full time. In my 7 months with the firm during peak Covid (no vaccines available), they only let me WFH when blizzards shut down the MTA. Overall I’d suggest you take a job somewhere else.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I interviewed with them, and I wanted to know more about the culture, etc. I’ve been working for nonprofits for a while now and I want a change of environment and practice area and the pay increase that comes with it. We discussed WFH and they are somewhat open to it but for an extended period of time. I’ll see how it goes!
