Job title hierarchy at Moderna? Trying to understand the job title hierarchy there. Currently a Principal scientist at BMS and looking to jumpship to Moderna. Is a principal scientist euqal to associate director at Moderna? If so, maybe I should apply to a scientist/sr scientist role? BMS has a sr principal role to crack before reaching associate director.

About to turn down a job offer that would nearly double my salary after speaking to several former associates of the firm and hearing some not so great things. The word “sweatshop” was used multiple times yet I am still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. This is truly “you can’t pay me enough to be part of that” in action. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.)
