About to start a new role as an Associate Director for a PR agency. How do I prepare for this job ahead of time? Any tips and tricks welcome.

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

What's the salary of AVP at JPMC?

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?

Hello! It's hard to find a place for us - so I thought I would create one!

I teach Business and will be teaching BIM in the fall. Microsoft Word is the first section. If we are partially or totally virtual with ChromeBooks, what do y’all suggest for teaching Word to students since the Chromebooks only have Google Docx on them? I really like Word better and think they need to know how to use Word, but if students can’t access it, that’s a problem. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
