Just got a job offer from a startup production company that loves to emphasize “cool credits,” “exposure,” and “room to grow.” The catch? It’s $52k/year in LA, no benefits, and they expect me to be available nights and weekends. Honestly, when the main selling point of a job is “it’ll look great on your résumé,” do you take it… or do you run?

That was on September 9th. I sent a thank you followup email the next day with letters of recommendation like I had mentioned in our conversation.
