Congrats! Tbh when I made a job hop 3 jobs ago, I didn’t actually have to negotiate because the offer was so much better than what I was currently making at the time (60% base salary increase and like 85% increase total comp). It kind of set me off in a new direction realizing I was capable of making sooo much more.
Hell ya! Good for you. One time when I was applying a role, I said something like “Based on the market and what I bring to the table, I’d feel undervalued at anything less.” I was nervous, but they came back with more than I expected. I couldn't believe it worked lol

I didn’t accept an offer that was made for me because the pay was lower than I thought. They gave me more, but not to research standard. It was higher than originally. I was pretty happy.
Wow that is awesome. I think sometimes all it takes is confidently asking for what you need to accept the role. If they think you are worth it, they will be willing to negotiate with you. It does feel really empowering to be bold and ask for what you deserve.
