Lexus. I don't support Elon Muskrat.
The way Elon is behaving this election I personally won’t be buying anything from him, ever lol. Anywho, given that you want the car for 6-8 years I would suggest the Lexus. Not saying Tesla’s don’t last but Lexus is tried and true.
Lexus. Where do you live? There aren’t that many superchargers in the US, in general. Get the hybrid plug-in Lexus that can also charge when you drive it then you’re “helping the environment” without supporting Elon or driving one of those cars that can only be fixed by Tesla. 🙄😊
Agreed, that is my perfect answer but those are approx $88k out the door whereas the Tesla is $50k post rebate 🥲
Lexus. Depending on where you live if it get too cold the Tesla won't work
Heard about this but not too concerned as I’m in CA
It wild to me that any black person gives any money to Elan… Anyway, in your decision you need to include any maintenance costs. But you always get what you pay for.
I completely agree but I’m very desperate & need to not break my budget, but unfortunately there are very few cars that meet my criteria.
Lexus, of course. If it was me, I'd be embarrassed to be associated with a Tesla. Some people you just don't deal with. That guy's comments on social media lately are just way out of line.
Entirely agree
I have a Tesla and I love my Tesla. Specifically the model y. I came from Mercedes before that. Elon is crazy but he makes good cars. Also minimum maintenance on the Tesla. You can charge at home or on the go. I live in MD and never have a problem with it being cold or too hot. We get negative degrees and 100+ days. I’ve had my Tesla since 2021. No issues and if there are issues it takes an update. Only maintenance you will have is rotating tires, windshield wiper fluid and change the wipes over the next 6/8 years. I don’t miss oil changes and other miscellaneous stuff where I had to take my car into the dealership for. Also, FSD is an option on a monthly basis and is great for long trips. I usually commute 1-2 hours and having autopilot really helps with exhaustion. Don’t fully trust the autopilot but it takes some of the stress from driving. After getting a Tesla idk what car I would buy next. The only thing I’m considering is a lucid suv which isn’t arriving until next year
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Live on the west coast where it is very Tesla friendly which is the main reason I was considering it. I really don’t want to support Elon but I am desperate & $13k is a sizeable enough difference in price to consider it.
Not over 8 years, if we’re honest. If the loan is 72 mos + the additional two you’d own the car outright. In the next 6 years you’d be able to refinance at least once with a rate decrease.
