Looking for advice on changing firms as a trainee.

I love the actual work and study, but firm's culture + management (or lack thereof) is making me miserable. Feels like I'm trying my best, and putting in the effort, but am constantly told off and treated like an idiot for doing things wrong when no one bothered to tell me otherwise. Or getting blamed for seniors / managers mistakes.

It's been 6 months. I want to stay in audit, and qualify. Do I just stick it out?

Everyone has a different perspective on this but would love to hear yours. Someone has debt ranging say 4-5% interest rates. Do you attack debt more then investing to move towards a debt free life or do you go after investments since they return historically above that then paying down closer towards retirement. I know the latter looks better on paper but what about the psychological factors of being debt free and the guaranteed return on interest savings.

Is it true for Assoc 602 level who hasn't completed one year, can't have S. My managers(functional and local) gave this reason for my OOO?

My functional manager personally messaged me later and said his recommendation is SOS but they cannot work past through the rules of less than 1year

Attempting to leave my current job for an opportunity that allows me to work, but doesn’t limit my ability to do some consulting on my own. Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. What is the best way to separate work / personal life? What methods do you find work the best for you?

Senior revving up to manager promo. Only nervous about one thing at the manager level which is having to answer pointed “Why??” questions from higher up clients on live calls. Any one else work through something like this? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions as I really suck at dealing with unexpected push back.

Could someone explain what finance closing process is? I passed CPA and have audit experience but I don’t really understand how industry accounting cycle works :( What does it mean to close the books? Are they referring to 12/31 deadline? Do all JE have to be recorded within this date? How does one close it?
