On a day as important as this, let us not forget that EY deceptively tried to screw over their employees with their unlimited PTO policy.

“Unlimited PTO” is going to happen everywhere. Private company, public companies, and firms. It will take a while to get adopted everywhere but it will. I first went on unlimited PTO in 2012.

It is too bad that this very employer friendly benefit is happening under the guise of a progressive benefit.

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

Pros/cons of having both a manager and senior manager on a job?

I am a senior at a top 50 regional firm and have been here for a year. Prior to this was 2 years at a smaller firm. I am interviewing in industry and have not landed a gig yet. I am wondering if it is because industry folks are not familiar with my firm. I am thinking about making a switch to a top 10 PA firm and sticking it out until manager and then reevaluating a move to industry. If my ultimate goal is to move to industry, would you suggest moving to a larger PA firm for brand recognition?
