Looking at two time series, Series A and Series B, of consumer behavior.

I hypothesised that Series A directly influenced B. When I plotted them, the time series look similar but with some lag (this lag isn’t unexpected since it would take time for People to change their behavior) — Near a recession A goes down, and soon after B drops off… A then goes back up awhile later and is followed by B.

Is there a math way to show that they COULD be related/intertwined?

Hi everyone, I am currently looking at social impact roles aligned with either DEI, social responsibility, or learning/leadership development. I have close to 15 years functional experience in DEI strategy, business strategy, teaching, and coaching. I have my own consulting company that focuses on DEI. I have a masters a MBA and a doctorate. I would love to be able to either connect with someone or be referred to an opportunity around a social impact space. That is where my purpose aligns.

The community is super toxic and I'm looking for a place I can casually ask questions that might seem dumb without being hrangued for not providing an essay proof of the research I've already done. Or some sort of buddy system where I can ping a person of relevant experience those questions. It's better to poke someone's brain for a minute than to spin in circles reading docs/dead end articles sometimes.
